This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 I gave this to my niece last year for Christmas！ She LOVED IT！ This book is so adorable and very interactive。 The child gets to interact with the monster in the book by blowing on him， tickling him and even roaring at him; to make him leave。 We have read this book a ton of times since and she giggles through every page。 If you like having story time with your little ones or looking for a great gift for someone with young kids。。。 I highly recommend this book！

I read this book to the 7 and 4 year old boys I babysit before their bed time and found it so charming！！ Very cute and interactive for the little ones。 Sets up a great way to get the kiddos to get in the mood to sleep。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 My 2 1/2 year old picked this one out himself and really loved it。 He loved how interactive it is as you're trying to get the monster to get out of your book by doing various motions and actions to "get him out。" So fun！ Loses 1 star because I was surprised that it teased the monster was in the child's room and quick call it back to the book。 Admittedly I should have read it first to see what was going to happen， but this was my son's first introduction to a monster in his room concept and I wis My 2 1/2 year old picked this one out himself and really loved it。 He loved how interactive it is as you're trying to get the monster to get out of your book by doing various motions and actions to "get him out。" So fun！ Loses 1 star because I was surprised that it teased the monster was in the child's room and quick call it back to the book。 Admittedly I should have read it first to see what was going to happen， but this was my son's first introduction to a monster in his room concept and I wish we hadn't read it now。 He's been having trouble sleeping in his own room in general， this seemed to just encourage the issues he was having。 He isn't dwelling on it， so it's ok。 The monster is safely back in the book LOL。 。。。more

Great concept - nightmare effect。 One of the pages says the monster is out of the book and now in your room and this frightened my 3yo。 Also， much more minimal illustrations than the others in this series。

This book is very fun and interactive I read it Parker a little 4 year old my grandson Peter who is 20 months old。 Parker definitely enjoyed it more。 Peter thought it was fun to watch us and all the crazy stuff we were doing to get the monster out of the book。
